PRESENTATION

I'm delighted that the sumptuous music Philippe Rombi composed for Yes, But... is now available on CD. His music has enriched my film, heightening its intent and emotion, and also makes for great listening on its own. You'll catch yourself whistling the melodies down the street! Philippe is one of those rising young composers in the French film scene. He attracted attention for the soundtracks of Criminal Lovers and Under the Sand. He is a wonderful melody writer, an exceptional arranger—quite a number on the harp—and a meticulous conductor. He is also cursed with being a perfectionist. And as he had to deal with a demanding director, the poor guy had to compose to no end. There are three major themes—no kidding!—in Yes, But..., which gives the film an exceptional musical wealth. I am sure we'll hear much more about Philippe Rombi in the years to come.
